Wax-to-oil ratio

This single ratio sets everything: hardness in the tin, spreadability, hold strength and how the product looks on the hair. It has to be tuned to the climate the product sells in.

Softening point

Wax that is hard in a cool warehouse and greasy in a tropical shipment is the most common complaint. Softening point is specified against the target market, not the factory floor.

Finish control

Matte versus shine comes from the oil phase and from whether the emulsion leaves any film at all. Matte claims need to be verified visually under standard lighting, not judged by eye on the bench.

What is the minimum order for a hair wax range?

The platform listing for the styling pomade and wax range starts at 10,000 pieces. If you are launching several shades, MOQ is set per SKU, so the total volume depends on how many shades you carry.

How do you keep wax workable in the tin?

The wax-to-oil ratio sets the melt point and the workability. Too much wax and it crumbles in cold weather; too much oil and it loses hold. We test re-mouldability at sample stage rather than relying on the formula sheet.

Can you produce a multi-shade range?

Yes — shade ranges are produced with a shared base and differing pigment and fragrance, which keeps the per-unit cost down across the range while each SKU still has its own tin.

Do you supply tins with custom print?

Yes. Tin, lid, label and retail carton are sourced and filled together.
